In The Beginning

West Coast Canada is famous for pristine and protected wilderness; rugged high coastal mountains; and pure water source. In 1987, an extensive coast-wide search for a massive supply of Canadian natural glacial water led to the discovery of the Schoen Glacier/Adam River on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Vancouver Island is the largest island in the Pacific Northwest. The rugged mountain ranges on the island’s 280 miles interior contain more than 100 pristine glaciers. These glaciers are recharged by moisture from the North Pacific Ocean.

Schoen Glacier / Adam River

Recognizing that there was no known source available in all of Canada that could compare to the quality, location, and volume of the Schoen Glacier/Adam River, Natural Glacial Waters Inc. put forth to secure this pristine water supply. Having been granted the exclusive Water License, the company requested and obtained permission for a river front site at the Glacial source for construction of the infiltration gallery, storage and loading facilities. NGW is allowed to withdraw up to one million gallons of glacial water daily at upstream Schoen Glacier / Adam River.

Rosewall Creek

The Company has also identified a glacial spring source on Rosewall Creek. In 1998, NGW's fully integrated bottling plant was constructed at the company’s glacial spring water source located at Rosewall Creek, less than one hundred miles from the Schoen Glacier/Adam River. The plant at the Rosewall Creek spring water source provides the company total control over the production process. This minimizes transportation and production costs and ensures that NGW’s products meet all health requirements and safety standards.
